I am seriously so excited for 2012. It's a new chance to do things right, and there's 366 opportunities to have a good day. I've got lots of plans for this year, and I spent so long thinking (and changing my mind) about what my resolutions would be. I decided that a year is a long time to stick to something so I was going to make resolutions each month.
I do however have some overall aims, which include saving money (proper saving, not pretending to when really I'm in Boots buying every make up deal), not eating takeaways (my health can't take it, nor can my bank), and focusing on working hard and blogging lots.
I realised that making monthly aims would be a lot more acheiveable and realistic and it can help me assess what I can do in order to make 2012 the most productive and best year. - I will not waste a single day in January. I promise.
My resolutions (or aims) for January are:
Tell friends and family about Ditzy Glamour.
It's something I've wanted to do for a while but feel like people wouldn't really understand what the point is. I'm going to mention it on Facebook and people can choose to read it or not.
No takeaways.
I reached a stage where I was buying too many takeaways, and I don't even want to work out how much it was costing me. So Aiden and I have made a joint to decision to give them up. I'm hoping it will be easy as I know it will benefit me in more ways than one.
Start going to car boot sales.
I have way too much junk which is just being stored under my bed so I need to do a car boot sale and get rid of it all. I want to do them as often as I can, but in Janurary I need to do one. And I will.
Take lots of photos.
If I look back, I think the most recent photo of me is from over a year ago. I want to have more memories on camera so I will take more photos.
So my resolutions this year aren't that serious, and to be honest all I want to do in 2012 is work hard and play harder. It will be a great year for me and I will make sure of it. I hope you all have an amazing year, and I look forward to hearing about all your resolutions.
Here's to a great 2012. What are your resolutions?

I've always wanted to go to car boot sales but they were never anywhere near home when I was in the UK. Love rooting in old vintage/antique shops though - I get my thrills that way!
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for the new year
I need to do car boot sales this year. I'm always nagging Spencer to do them but he always says that we don't have enough stuff. I will force him into it this year! xx
