Sunday Ramble 012.

- I've been such an unorganised blogger lately - I won't say 'bad' blogger as I don't have to post regularly I just choose to. I don't even know why I haven't blogged so no excuses I'm afraid! It's also going to get even more quiet this week as I'm off to my Aunt's caravan for a few days as I booked the next two weeks off work. I'm actually quite excited.

- I've started a challenge for August where I write down every single penny I spend. I purchased special finance pages for my Filofax and now I can see where all of my money goes (I've worked out I spend a lot on Lucozade :/ )

- I have rediscovered my love for H&M. I went off them for a while and the online delivery fiasco put me off even more, but after arriving at work an hour early by mistake, I popped into H&M on Oxford Street and I honestly wanted to buy everything. I held off, but went shopping there in Portsmouth yesterday and got some lovely bits. I love how cheap it all is!

- Despite all the negativity around the Cosmo Blog Awards, I decided to nominate myself after a lot of persuading by my boyfriend. Now I'm not asking for votes and there will be no prizes if you do but I would honestly love for you to vote if you love to read my blog. I'm sure there's at least one of you out there! I'm under the New Beauty Blog category and you can vote by clicking the big can't-miss-it Cosmo badge on my blog. :)

Enjoy the last of your weekend girls! :)

Sunday Ramble 011.

- I can't believe I haven't posted all week! (apart from Kayln's guest post yesterday which obviously wasn't from me). I've had a week where I've sort of just 'existed' and haven't really done anything apart from what needed to be done, but I'm feeling a lot more positive, especially about my blog so look forward to seeing some posts. I have, however ,seen my follower number continue to grow despite the lack of posts, so thank you and don't be shy. :)

- Like I said, this week has been pretty mundane. I've been revising like mad for my theory (not saying the date as I don't want people to know until after) and to be honest I'm really nervous!

- I visited M&M world in London on Saturday, it's really good but very expensive. If you're in London, take a look there, there's a whole wall of M&M's in every colour! :)

This week in numbers:

1 - Number of visits to the vet with my dog (thought he was blind - he's not!)

2 - Number of packages delivered

0 - Number of credits I have left on Bingo on Facebook (addicted!)

10 - Number of short nails I have (bit them all! :( )

2.50 - Amount I won on the lottery :)

Hope you had a lovely week, send me your blog posts so I can have a catch up. :)

Sunday Ramble 010.

- I wasn't actually going to do this post, as it's quite late now and I normally like to spend a bit of time on post's so excuse any grammatical errors etc. and sorry if it doesn't make much sense in parts. I'm a little tired after travelling back from my boyfriend's.

- Last night was date night. Aiden and I try to go out for 'Date Night' once a month, and it's something I hope we can carry on when we have kids and everything, as it's so nice to just go somewhere and enjoy each other's company. We went to an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet right next to Spinnaker tower which is lovely. It's called Water Margin if any of you are in the area that is Portsmouth. :)

- It was after the meal I heard about Amy Winehouse. My mum texted me and I was genuinely upset. I honestly wish I never read Twitter as within an hour of people knowing, there were so many disgusting jokes and comments about her 'deserving it' which outraged me. I agree it was her own choice to choose that lifestyle and I disagree with it, but she deserved help, not death. She got lost on a bad journey and if she had as much support before she died as she does now, I think things would have been different.

- It's also so sad to hear about the events in Norway. Hearing the death toll increase almost hourly is heartbreaking, and I seriously can't believe what the world is coming to. I do however think it's wrong to be racist and say to 'Blame the Muslims'. It's a religion, and you can't blame the whole religion for the wrong doings of a few people. A few of my family members converted to Islam, and they wouldn't hurt a fly. If all white people were being blamed for something one white person did wrong, everyone would kick off and say it's wrong, so why are we allowed to say things about a specific religion?

- In happier news, I am delighted to see my follower number go up, and I hope the Batiste giveaway winners enjoy their prizes. I don't want to have a 'negative' post as such, so I thought I'd look at a few highlights of the week for me:

- Talking to Aiden late last night about the best moments of our relationship, including 'Funniest moment' 'Best journey' and 'Most embarrasing moment'. It brought up a lot of memories and had us laughing. :)

- Making Sophie snort via Twitter. Still makes me chuckle.

- Teaching my dog to fetch. Proud Mummy Moment.

- Buying a cupcake stand - wanted one for ages. <3

What were the highlights of your week?

Sunday Ramble 009.

- No pictures again this week! I had full intentions of doing so but those of you who follow me on Twitter will know that I sadly dropped my Blackberry in the bath and it will not work. My contract ends in two weeks so for now I'm stuck with a rubbish phone. I'm so behind on e-mails/twitter etc. it's crazy. Hoping to have a good catch up tonight. I also took a few photo's on Aiden's phone today so I'll have some photo's for posts. :)

- I've gained a fair few amount of followers this week, but none of you have entered my Batiste giveaway. If you haven't, get entering, as there aren't many entries and there's three bottles up for grabs. :)

- Also this week, my brother had an incident which involved a hole in his leg and going to casualty. It was the night I intended to blog, hence no blog posts all week, but he's okay now, which is the main thing.

- I am thinking of doing a blog sale sometime soon, but they have never proven popular, I was wondering if I'm doing anything wrong, or if there are certain brands/products etc. people would love to see in a blog sale (not MAC, I'm not selling anything) then let me know and I can see if I have anything worth selling. I really need some extra money for Jess's car fund.

- Most popular post this week: Teeze Me - My Tangle Teezer review.

- Blog of the week: Fleur De Force - Keep an eye out for my guest post. :)

Lastly, could I ask a big favour? Could you all click the 'Style Journals Topsite' button at the top of my blog. It would help me get a little higher and while you're there you can join yourself and find other amazing blogs. :)

Have an amazing evening, I'm off for a nice bath with my Jodi Picoult book. <3

Sunday Ramble 008.

- No pictures this week I'm afraid, I always forget to take any until the weekend then most of the time it's too late! I promise I'll be more organised for next week. :)

- A lot of progress has been made this week. I applied (and failed) to give blood, but I will book again! I booked my theory test (although I'm not telling the date as I don't want anyone to know) and I signed up at the Open University to do a Certificate in Business Studies (and hopefully go onto doing a diploma or a degree!) Busy busy busy!

- I have been a bit 'out of the loop' in the blogging world recently, I haven't done as much interacting with others as I'd like. I'm hoping to change this this week. :)

- Most popular post this week: Batiste Boho Giveaway (if you haven't entered, please do - you can win one of three!)

- Blog of the week: Grace from Ooooh Pretty guest blogged for me yesterday and I didn't really have much time to give her any credit. She is a lovely girl with a lovely blog, and you can read her post on my blog here.

Sunday Ramble 007.

Obsessed with The Sims much? - My new books - Room improvements - My new make up area.

- This week has to have been the fastest week ever. I think it's because I stayed at Aiden's until Tuesday and had a 3 day week at work, and then it was the weekend! I honestly haven't been up to much, so not much to say this week.

- Yesterday, I went to my town's local festival, and it turned out to be a lot more fun than I thought. There were some great performances, and I got three Jodi Picoult books for £6. What a bargain!

- I moved my room around a bit this week and it's much more 'homely' now. Think matching colours, tidy storage, and candles. :)

- If you hate PDA's look away now. My boyfriend truly is the best. I know everyone says that, but he really is. He makes me laugh so much and when I had a little 'blah' moment, he knew exactly what to do and say and I ended up laughing with him. I know he will probably read this, and if you are, I love you. :) <3

- Most popular post that was posted this week: Jess's Guide To: Shopping In The Sales

- Blog of the week: Sprinkle of Glitter. She is a lovely girl, with the cutest baby ever! Also, make sure you watch her Youtube videos, but ensure you don't have any plans as you'll end up watching them all like I did!

Sunday Ramble 006.

New laptop and Filofax. Inside my new Filofax. Pretty flowers on mine and Aiden's walk. Hungry Horse menu (yummy).

- Funny fact. Every time (and I mean every single time) I have written one of these posts (except the first two), I have to go back and check what number I'm on. Okay, so it's not funny but it's a fact. How's everyone's week been? They seem to be going super fast lately, hmmm.

- First thing's first. What is up with Glossy Box?! Now I haven't seen what I've got yet as I'm at my boyfriend's so expect a longer post in the next week or two but I am seriously annoyed at how long it took to get delivered! Come on, it's almost July. I couldn't have praised Glossy Box more last month, but this month I'm less than happy. And why why why add delivery charges when your service is so rubbish (enter worse word here instead if you like)? I've heard a lot about another company who plans to do the same thing, but are we really going to fall for the hype again? Yes, because I've added myself to the waiting list. Shame on me.

- This week I signed myself up to Style Journals. Now I wouldn't call my blog a fashion blog, but it clearly states "Anyone from any blogging platform can join as long as your blog is related to fashion and style in one way or another; that could be clothes, shoes, bags, nails, hair, beauty, photography, inspirational photos, fashion shows and models are just some examples." So I joined! Please help me out by clicking the little button at the top of my blog, and don't forget to sign up yourselves. There are also some amazing blogs on there.

- I crossed another thing off my 101 Things in 1001 Days list! (Number 46) On Tuesday, my dad took me to Comet to buy a new laptop for my birthday and I love it. My old laptop had no battery life and no sound, so I have spent most nights watching all you lovely Youtube ladies and walking around the house with my laptop!

- I noticed that I never seem to be on my laptop on Saturday's, therefore I tend to not schedule any posts for then either. So I decided that I'm going to have bloggers take over my blog every other Saturday (perhaps every Saturday in the future) I already have a few people interested and they are currently writing blog posts for me. If you are interested, please e-mail me at jesswd18@hotmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you. :)

- Blog of the week: Zoe is a lovely girl and her blog is just as lovely. I adore her cute layout and my favourite posts would have to be 'The Love List'. :)

Sunday Ramble 005.

- I hope you've all had a great week! I was lucky enough to have the week off work and boy did I enjoy it! I've decided that Sunday Rambles from now on will include a few pictures from the week, you know, just to make it look a bit prettier. I hope you all like it.

- If you read last week's ramble or follow me on Twitter, you'll know I went to Cardiff on Tuesday to see Take That. I was so excited, and I didn't even mind the 3 hour journey there, although it took 4 hours to get back as we were stuck in the car park for over an hour! Anyway, Take That were amazing and I hate to admit it but Robbie really did prove me wrong. I was slightly anti-Robbie beforehand, but he had me screaming my heart out to 'Let Me Entertain You' whilst sweating a little too much, but hey ho, it was the best night ever.

- I baked Millionaire's Shortbread this week after finally finding a recipe. It was actually pretty easy to make and they tasted delicious. I'm tempted to post the recipe on here, should I? :)

- On Saturday, it was my 19th birthday. I celebrated by going out for a meal on Friday, then coming home and dancing my heart away in the living room, ending up with some hilarious pictures of me, Aiden and my brother. Then, on Saturday night, I went to my local pub, and had such a laugh, although I did trip up the stairs after drinking a shot of Tequila followed by Sambuca. Overall, an amazing birthday.

Sunday Ramble 004.

- Hope you've all had a lovely week. This is the first week that I've felt properly proud of my blog. Yes, I loved it, but I feel like this week, all the hard work is starting to pay off and I'm really happy with the way things are going. This is down to all of you reading this right now - thank you for being so lovely on here and Twitter. :)

- There won't be any blog posts until at least Wednesday as I'm going to Cardiff to see Take That on Tuesday night! I am so so so excited! Anyone else seeing/seen them on their tour?

- I'm also really looking forward to turning 19 next Saturday. I don't really have anything planned for it, but I'm actually really excited about turning 19. I think it's going to be a good age!

- I've bought a fair few magazines recently, mostly because of the amazing freebies that come with. You all know about Glamour and Benefit, but also check out Company and Instyle, along with I think Red? There's so many! Definitely take advantage, I have.
- Blog of the week: I find myself always looking forward to Bee's posts. Her blog vivatramp is always full of inspiration and it was her who inspired me to create my 101 things in 1001 days list. Her blog will most definitely leave you feeling positive.

PS. Sorry for the short Sunday Ramble post this week. :)

Sunday Ramble 003.

- Good evening girls. I hope you've all had fabulous weeks whatever you've been up to. As you know from last week's ramble, I had a lot of hours at work, hence the lack of blogging, and I've got the same this week, but I've also got so many post ideas so I'm going to hopefully get a lot done today and on Tuesday (my day off!). Thank you for your support regarding the girl at work who keeps taking extra long lunches. It turned out a few people were annoyed at this, so I had a word with my manager and she's going to keep an eye on her.

- On Friday, I went to visit my great grandad. I normally only see him on his birthday, but my family decided to surprise him and he was so happy to see us. He really is an amazing man, and I idolise him so much. He also told me the most amazing quote and I will remember it forever. He said "I'll eat when I'm hungry, I'll drink when I'm dry, I'll cry when I'm sad, and I'll sing when I'm happy. And if you don't like me, you can leave me alone" <3

- I'm very excited for the #bbloggers chat tonight on Twitter. I'm sure you've all heard of it but if you haven't then get involved - you will learn so much. Tonight's topic is photography, which I think is great as I think it will help those, like myself, who don't have an expensive camera and Photoshop. (I use a Blackberry/N8 phone camera and Picnik! And I think most of my photos come out just as good sometimes.

- Blog of the week: This week, I'd like to mention Sofia's Journal. I am currently sponsoring her blog, and you'll see my little badge in her sidebar, but I seriously love her posts. I read her blog almost every time I'm on the laptop and I find myself going further back to her older posts and reading about so many amazing things. Definitely check out her blog!

Sunday Ramble 002.

- I feel like I haven't blogged at all this week. I'm not sure why, I think it was a mixture of awkward work rotas (they texted me the wrong one!), swapping rooms with my mum, and spending a well earned weekend off with my boyfriend. I have a lot of posts planned so hopefully I'll be able to get a few done this week, which I'm not sure of, considering my normal 12 hour week at work is going to be 32!

- I have some really exciting news to tell you all, which I'm not sure you'll all be excited about, but if you follow me on Twitter, you'll know how excited I was. Today, I went to an event held at one of my local parks where Levi Roots was showing his new products and offering samples and a lot of full sized samples. He also did a live show on how he makes the ready made meals which you can buy, and I got a photo with him and spoke to him (something I can cross of my list!) He is someone who I have always loved ever since he came onto Dragon's Den with his guitar. And considering he grew up in the same area (ish) as me, I'm very proud.

- On Saturday morning, my mum, Aiden and I went to a car boot sale. Considering it was a very small one, we made quite a lot of money. I was hoping to snap up some amazing bargains like I've seen other bloggers do but sadly there wasn't much there. Anyone know of any good car boot sales in London?

- I received a lot of support for my Dear Body post and I thought I'd do a quick update. The first two days went really well, but sadly I damaged my leg very badly to the point where I couldn't even walk on it. (shows how unfit I am!) I then sadly took the whole week off to recover so am pretty much back to square one BUT I will be starting again tomorrow so I'm not letting this week get to me.

- I've also got a problem! Blogger is not letting me comment on ANY blogs and it is really stressing me out. Does anyone know how I can fix this? It keeps telling me to sign in, but I am, and when I sign in again, it still won't let me comment, it just keeps going back to the sign in page! Help!

- Blog of the week: Sophie is such a lovely girl and her blog is growing by the day! She writes amazing reviews and I always always look forward to her posts. You won't regret following her!
