New Hair

Up until last year I had never dyed my hair, but I took the plunge and went a darker brown. Slowly, it grew out and I got bored of doing it again for a while. As it's a new year, new start blah blah blah, I thought I'd do it again. When I went to Boots to get my normal dye (Nice'n'easy Shade 120), I noticed they had a new colour out that was more what I wanted (Nice'n'easy Shade 131), and I can safely say I'm really happy with the results.

It's a lot darker than I'm used to and I was worried I'd look 'washed out' and pale, but I don't. The only problem I have is matching my eyebrows to my hair, but I went to MAC and asked them to match an eyeshadow to use. She recommended 'Mystery' which is perfect.

Me and my hair have a very serious 'hate-hate' relationship. I've never liked it and I always struggle with it. However, I decided I need to embrace it as it's never going to change. People tell me every day to wear my hair naturally curly, but I don't think I ever could. I've straightened my hair since I was 15, and it's a habit I don't want to break.

  1. It looks lovely I too have a hate hate relationship with my hair, never hapy with it and always wnt to change it x

  2. THe colour looks great, and looks like there are some nice highlights going through it too.
I had the same issue with my hair, its insanely curly, I used to strighten it all the time, my hair was wrecked, almost completely dead. I slowly embraced my curls, I first left my hair to dry naturally in my house, then I branched out to the local shops.
Now 7ish year later I rarely wear it stright. The key is it use serum to repair the hair. But its all about whats comfortable for you.
